Specialising in tense, terse, emotionally-driven narratives, Mark is a Writer / Director of Short Dramas, Brand Films and recon for True-Crime Docudramas. He also directs the occasional toy commercial.
Based in London, Mark has directed countless projects across Europe, the U.S, Asia and the Middle East.
His acclaimed drama works have screened and sold at festivals around the world and his brand and corporate dramas have picked up numerous Gold and Grand Prix awards from the likes of the New York Film & TV Awards, the EVCOM London Film Awards and the Cannes Corporate and Media Awards. He is also an accomplished DOP [with extensive kit] and editor (having been an award-winning Preditor in a former life).
He is currently developing an initial trio of feature films: Single-location survival-thriller DELAYED, 1970’s cop- horror THE WEAVE and the intense psychosexual thriller THE SIREN, THE CAPTAIN, THE SEA.
His favourite films are Nil by Mouth, High & Low, Mona Lisa & Stone Cold. And Highlander. Obviously.
He does not take himself half as seriously as his photograph may suggest.
